Beijing-Shanghai high speed G train is composed of second class passenger cars, first class passenger cars, a business class car, two VIP sightseeing areas as well as a dining car. Sightseeing area is the most mysterious part on the train. It is comprised of 5 seats: 2 VIP seats and 3 sofa sleepers. Ticket price per seat here is RMB 1750 Yuan which is 400 Yuan higher than that of flight ticket price. As sightseeing area is very close to the driver's room, passengers can see clearly how train drivers in their control room ride the train while sitting in their seats.

Sightseeing area and business class cabin are served by same deluxe seats. Deluxe seat is equipped with flexible reading lamp, foldable dining table, multifunction lcd tv, 3G wireless networks and etc. Even though the egg-shaped deluxe seat has no extraordinary look, it has amazing functions. Passenger will feel very safe and comfortable while seating inside. Besides this, it provides three types of seated postures: sitting, half-sitting half-lying and lying. People said it feels more comfort and safe than first class flight seat provided by some domestic airlines.

There are 4 first class cabins with 186 first class seats on each high speed G train. Ticket price for first class seat is RMB 935 Yuan each. First class seat is equipped with flexible reading lamp and passenger can adjust slope of the seat too. Inside each first class cabin are two toilet rooms and one drinking place
