The arrangements & other works in the Venue were started 2 days before the event.! We girls worked to decorate the venue & boys did arrangements reg. Speakers & did other jobs in Venue..! All of us were sleeping at 3 and 4 AM. Our team had only a few but dynamic members. Amar Naik, Project Manager, TCS is one among our organizing team who guided us in a right way to reach the goal. We all went to venue on 26, March and continued the pending decoration works there. The venue is actually a wedding hall with impressions of previous wedding functions left in it. A separate decoration team comprising of about 5 to 10 members worked the whole day to change that ordinary hall into a wonderful TEDx arena. We then had our lunch took some rest discussed the pending works & continued the job.
All the activities are monitored then & there by Vivek(Curator & Licensee). In the evening almost all the works are in the finishing stage, testing & rehearsal have been started. We had our dinner and deployed the things on which we worked on past 1 week. All the decoration works have been completed. Then, one of our speakers as well as Curator & of TEDxCoimbatore Mrs. Anusha visited the venue. And we too rehearsed the our TEDxTirupur anthem. Our Chief Coordinator Vinoth sung the anthem & we followed him. We also took the snap shots, which are the everlasting memories. Finally we went to bed at 1 PM. And the next day, we came to venue at 7.
On the day of TEDxTirupur
The registration works started at 7.30AM and we saw the crowd of attendees waiting for registration. All the attendees & speakers are captured in our digi cam. Our speakers are received from the airports, railway stations from our speaker Buddies & the event stared at around 9.30. After the speech of Curator TEDxTirupur anthem was echoed in the Venue. We took our position and the speakers spoke about The Big Questions of the Next Generation. In two tea break & a lunch people spoke with Speakers, & among themselves; they introduced, spoke, networked.
The speech of all our Speakers were extraordinary, motivational. The speech enlightened the mob & created awareness too.
